Florida Highway Patrol marks I-75 southbound clear after a two-lane roadblock in North Fort Myers

Florida Highway Patrol now marks the roadway clear after a crash blocked the two left lanes of southbound Interstate 75 at mile marker 144 in North Fort Myers.

The restriction remained active in a direct check at 6:46 p.m. Wednesday. At 6:53 p.m., the same entry on the agency's public incident board carried a ROADWAY CLEAR remark.

The state record does not report how many vehicles were involved, whether anyone was injured or exactly when the lanes reopened.

What changes for drivers

The two-left-lane roadblock is no longer active. The state now marks the roadway clear at mile marker 144.
