All lanes of Interstate 75 southbound are clear at mile marker 144 in North Fort Myers after an injury crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol public incident board.
The state board had listed the call as a vehicle crash with injuries and a roadblock. Its remarks first showed the left lane blocked, then changed to all lanes clear by 4.50 p.m.
The public record does not give a vehicle count, an injury count, the severity of any injuries or a cause. The injury description is the state's classification of the call and not a medical account.
The first watcher record placed the call at mile marker 143. Five minutes later, a second record with the same three timestamps, direction and lane restriction placed it at mile marker 144. The live state board now carries only the mile marker 144 version, which is the location used here.
This is separate from the crashes at mile marker 141 earlier Sunday. The Highway Patrol had marked the roadway clear for those calls before this one appeared.
