Southbound Interstate 75 has a right lane blocked at mile marker 128 in Fort Myers, according to the Florida Highway Patrol's public incident board.

The restriction was still active on a direct read of the board at 10:31 p.m. Eastern on September 21.

An earlier patrol entry placed a crash at mile marker 130 with the same incident timestamps and right-lane-blocked remark. That row disappeared before a later entry appeared at mile marker 128. The matching details strongly indicate that the location changed on the board rather than the crash clearing.

The patrol published no vehicle count, injury information, cause or detour. Drivers should expect the restriction near mile marker 128 and check the live board before traveling through the area.

Correction, September 21, 2026, 10:32 p.m. Eastern. An earlier version said the roadblock at mile marker 130 had cleared because that entry disappeared from the patrol board. A later entry at mile marker 128 carries the same incident timestamps and restriction. The brief has been corrected to report the active mile marker 128 location, and the earlier stock image has been removed because it carried foreign lettering on the equipment.
