Florida Highway Patrol is telling drivers to use caution in fog on southbound Interstate 75 through Collier County early Sunday.

The live state incident board places the travel advisory between mile marker 114 and mile marker 48, a southbound stretch of I-75 that crosses most of Collier County. The patrol's note says fog is present throughout the county.

Fog remains on the live board.

What the board does not say

The state record lists no crash, road closure, blocked lane, detour, visibility distance or expiration time.

The National Weather Service has no separate active alert for Lee or Collier County. That does not cancel the patrol's road advisory, which remained on the live board during two direct checks Sunday morning.

Drivers should check current conditions before assuming the fog has cleared.
