Overnight ramp closures start Tuesday, July 28, at the I-75 and Pine Ridge Road interchange in Naples, and run on four consecutive nights while crews pave. WINK News reported the schedule, citing a press release.

The closures come one ramp at a time. The southbound I-75 on-ramp closes July 28 at 8 p.m. and reopens July 29 at 6 a.m. The northbound I-75 off-ramp closes July 29 at 8 p.m. and reopens July 30 at 6 a.m. The northbound I-75 on-ramp closes July 30 at 8 p.m. and reopens July 31 at 6 a.m. The southbound I-75 off-ramp closes July 31 at 8 p.m. and reopens August 1 at 6 a.m. Motorists were advised to follow posted detour routes or find alternatives, and law enforcement will be on site to assist. The activities are subject to change based on weather and unforeseen conditions.

The paving is part of a Florida Department of Transportation project to reconstruct exit 107 as a diverging diamond interchange. The department's project page puts the cost at approximately $27.5 million, describes the scope as reconstruction of the interchange and its on and off ramps, new signals at the ramps, pedestrian and bicycle accommodations, and resurfacing of Pine Ridge Road through the project area, and gives an expected completion of mid-2027. The project was advanced under the Moving Florida Forward Infrastructure Initiative.

Two things on that page are worth reading alongside the closure list. The department states that traffic on Pine Ridge Road has already shifted to the new diverging diamond configuration, so the layout drivers meet during these detours is the new one. It also states the general pattern for the site, which is overnight lane closures on Pine Ridge Road between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. and ramp closures between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. when necessary.

The four-night ramp schedule above comes from the press release as reported by WINK News. The department's project page, linked here as the primary source, confirms the project, the interchange, the cost, the scope, the overnight ramp closure window and the completion date, but at the time of writing it lists the full closure of Pine Ridge Road under I-75 that ended at 6 a.m. Monday rather than the specific ramp nights that follow.
