FHP clears an I-75 crash at mile marker 142 and drops a nearby mile marker 143 roadblock entry
The Florida Highway Patrol now marks a northbound Interstate 75 crash at mile marker 142 in North Fort Myers as roadway open. A separate nearby roadblock entry at mile marker 143 is no longer on the live board. The records do not establish whether the entries described one crash or two.

The roadblocks are clear.
Florida Highway Patrol records captured Tuesday afternoon carried two nearby crash entries on northbound Interstate 75 in North Fort Myers. One placed a roadblock in the right lane at mile marker 142. The other listed a roadblock in the area at mile marker 143.
FHP later changed the mile marker 142 entry to roadway open. A direct check of the populated public incident board at about 4:40 p.m. retained that open record and no longer listed the mile marker 143 entry.
The public records do not establish whether the two nearby entries described one crash or two. They give no vehicle count, injury information or cause.
