The ramp from northbound S.R. 951, or Collier Boulevard, to southbound Interstate 75 has reopened, WINK News reported.
WINK reported that the unscheduled closure lasted about two hours while contractors moved equipment. The outlet said the Florida Department of Transportation confirmed that the roadways were clear.
The work is part of FDOT's I-75 at S.R. 951 interchange project, which is reconstructing the southbound ramp connections at exit 101.
The Friday closure is over, but nighttime work remains. FDOT says motorists should expect further overnight ramp closures for paving during the coming weeks.
