Interstate 75 northbound is open again after a crash closed every northbound lane on Alligator Alley in Collier County early Tuesday, reported by Cheryl McCloud at the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.

McCloud's report, citing FL511, says the collision involved multiple vehicles and injuries. The closure lasted about an hour. No further public details on the number or severity of injuries were available in the report.

A direct check of the FL511 traffic event list at 8:20 a.m. found no active event in Lee or Collier counties. The separate Florida Highway Patrol board was populated and carried no crash or blocked lane in either county.

The road is open. Drivers should not use the earlier closure alert as a current condition.
