Firefighters cut the windshield out of a car to free a driver trapped in a single vehicle rollover on Bald Cypress Circle in Fort Myers, and the driver was taken to hospital for evaluation

A driver was cut free from a car that rolled onto its side on Bald Cypress Circle in Fort Myers on Saturday, after the vehicle struck a palm tree and left the driver trapped inside.

Crews from the South Trail Fire Protection and Rescue Service District removed the windshield to open a safe path into the car and took the driver out, according to the account firefighters gave Gulf Coast News. The driver was taken to hospital for further evaluation.
