Marc Andreessen and Mervyn King will co-lead the Fed's five policy task forces

The membership of the Federal Reserve's five monetary policy task forces was reported by Kyle Campbell at American Banker. Each has three outside co-leads. Communications goes to Peter R. Fisher, Arminio Fraga and Mervyn King. Balance Sheet Policy goes to Karen Dynan, Raghuram Rajan and Jeremy Stein. Data goes to Raj Chetty, Doug McMillon and Kevin Murphy. Productivity and Jobs goes to Marc Andreessen, Charles I. Jones and Asha Sharma. Inflation Frameworks goes to Greg Mankiw, Thomas Sargent and William White. American Banker reported the groups are expected to deliver recommendations by the end of 2026. Chairman Kevin Warsh said the goal is to position the Fed to achieve its objectives. The Fed said each group works independently, with staff support.
