The ramp from westbound Daniels Parkway to northbound Interstate 75 at exit 131 is closed until 6 a.m. Thursday for interchange work. FDOT has scheduled the same closure again from 9 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday.

The closure is active on the Florida Highway Patrol public incident board. The state entry identifies construction at mile marker 131 in Fort Myers and says the westbound movement to northbound I-75 is closed.
The Florida Department of Transportation notice schedules the closure from 9 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday. The same ramp is scheduled to close again from 9 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday.
Crews are striping the roadway, moving traffic from the existing ramp to a temporary ramp and shifting northbound I-75 traffic slightly toward the median, according to FDOT.
The detour
FDOT directs westbound Daniels Parkway drivers to continue west, make a U-turn at the nearest traffic signal and use the loop ramp from eastbound Daniels Parkway to enter northbound I-75.
The department says law enforcement will be at the closure and advises drivers to follow the posted detour or use another route. The work schedule can change because of weather or other conditions.
