FHP no longer lists the injury crash that blocked a Daniels Parkway turn lane at I-75

Florida Highway Patrol no longer displays the injury-crash record that blocked the eastbound left-turn lane on Daniels Parkway at Interstate 75 in Fort Myers.

The state's live incident board listed the crash and lane restriction at 8:13 p.m. Saturday. The record was absent from two healthy board reads at 8:25 p.m.

The board has no separate clearing field, so the record's disappearance shows that FHP stopped displaying the call. It does not establish an official reopening time.

The state record described the call as a crash with injuries but gave no injury count, injury severity, vehicle count, cause or detour. None is inferred from the board's classification.

Drivers approaching the Daniels Parkway interchange should check current conditions before traveling through the area.
