The Lee County Sheriff's Office announced a short closure of all Alico Road lanes at WildBlue Boulevard on Monday afternoon while crews cleared debris from the roadway near the Fort Myers community.

The official traffic advisory was posted at about 2:04 p.m. and said the closure was expected to last approximately 30 minutes.

The agency did not identify the debris or say how it reached the road. No follow-up clearing time was included in the agency's current profile timeline, so this brief does not assign one.

The cleanup was temporary.

The advisory was a short same-day traffic notice. Drivers should check live conditions before using the intersection.
