Roadblock clears after crash on the Alico Road ramp to I-75 southbound

Florida Highway Patrol now lists no roadblock after a crash blocked the ramp from eastbound Alico Road to southbound Interstate 75 in Fort Myers. The public record gives no injury information.

The roadblock is no longer active.

The Florida Highway Patrol now lists no roadblock at the entrance to southbound Interstate 75 from eastbound Alico Road in Fort Myers. The agency had initially classified the incident as a vehicle crash with a roadblock on the southbound on ramp.

The populated public incident board still carried the crash Saturday afternoon, but its latest entry said NO ROADBLOCK. The record does not identify a vehicle count, injuries or a cause.

What changes for drivers

The ramp is no longer reported blocked. FHP gives no continuing lane restriction for the crash.
