FHP no longer lists the Alico Road crash that blocked traffic at I-75 in Fort Myers

Florida Highway Patrol no longer displays the Alico Road crash record that warned of a roadblock at Interstate 75 in Fort Myers, according to the agency's live incident board.

The record appeared between the watcher's 7:09 and 7:14 a.m. checks Thursday. It identified a vehicle crash with a roadblock and told drivers to use caution. The board did not specify a blocked lane, detour or injury.

A direct check at 7:28 a.m. returned a populated statewide board without the Alico Road entry. FHP publishes no separate clearing field, so the record's disappearance shows that the agency stopped displaying the call. It does not establish an official reopening time.

Drivers approaching the Alico Road interchange should check current conditions before traveling through the area.
